Bhutlah is a superhot chilli pepper originating from the Canary Islands and selected by Peter Merle, obtained by crossing Bhut Jolokia and Trinidad Moruga Scorpion. It seems that the first version of this chilli pepper was the “chocolate” variant which also seems to be the hottest, even if no official data is available, it seems to be one of the hottest cultivars ever!
